MAKING YOUR OWN CCF?
If you are having difficulty teaching the Pronto certain commands, the following will be of help to you. Pronto adds a stop command to any code it learns, and makes some codes unusable for the AVM 20. We have created specially made IR codes in .ird format that can be loaded through a program called IRDatabase. Besides saving the trouble of teaching the codes one by one, these codes use less memory and react more quickly than taught codes. Using the database with ProntoEdit is much simpler than it may seem at first.
Download the complete AVM 20 IRD Database here:
:: Download IRD (latest version) ::
To open the .ird file, you will need to download and install IRDatabase from www.remotecentral.com/files/util.htm
How to use it:
Install irdatabase.exe
Run IRDatabase
Click on File in top left corner
Click Import Device and select ANTHEM AVM20-30-D1.ird from wherever you saved it
The AVM 20 will be listed along the left side under Preamp Select AVM 20 and double-click on the desired button. All the stats will appear, including Hex code.
Open Pronto Edit to enter the codes into your Pronto. You can pull the codes from the database by double-clicking on the desired button in your .ccf file. When the "Properties" panel appears, click on "IR DB", and all the AVM 20 codes will be available under "Preamp". Since Vol+ and Vol- are the buttons most often needed, they are listed here so you don't have to install this program (you can copy straight from this page and paste onto ProntoEdit):
