FAQ: Are any internet dealers authorized to sell Anthem products?
A: No, and the ones we've been asked about all seem to be the same unscrupulous operation. These web sites say not to contact the manufacturer if service is needed and that they'll match the manufacturer's warranty. At least one person found out the hard way that after-sale "service" provided by this seller was hanging up the phone on the buyer when a unit that wasn't functioning properly was delivered, something not covered by manufacturer warranty to begin with -- it was a second hand unit with an illegally altered serial number. This seller has also listed and taken payment for models that don't exist. When something that cannot be obtained was already paid for, this seller is reported by its customers to, after considerable delay, send something entirely different and not worth as much than what was ordered.
Regardless, the more complicated the product, the lower the chance that anyone other than the manufacturer or authorized service can fix it.
FAQ: If I buy something from an authorized dealer away from home, does warranty still cover it?
A: Only if you make the transaction in person and should you need it, go to the same dealer for service, the only one required to provide it (we're not a car manufacturer).
CANADA & USA
Anthem Electronics warrants to the original purchaser that each Anthem product is free from defects in workmanship and materials, during normal use and service, for a period from the date of sale as follows:
• Power Amplifiers and TLP-1: five (5) years
• Preamplifiers/processors - audio section: three (3) years
• Preamplifiers/processors - video section: two (2) years
• Remote Controls: one (1) year
Warranty is transferable only if the product is traded-in and re-sold by an Authorized Anthem Dealer.

INTERNATIONAL
Outside of Canada and USA, warranty coverage terms are set and maintained by the Authorized Anthem Distributor, not Anthem Electronics. Terms and conditions may vary. |
